Nebraska Boiler

Packaged Watertube Steam Boilers. Gas, Oil & Solid Fuels from 10,000#/Hr to 275,000#/Hr.

Industrial watertube boilers typically produce steam or hot water for industrial process applications, and are used less frequently for heating applications. The watertube design is one in which the tubes contain steam and/or water and the products of combustion pass around the tubes. The industrial watertube design is noted for its fast steaming capacity. Our watertube boilers are fitted with our own multi-fuel fired burners which have been highly engineered and mated with the furnace to form a cohesive package delivering the highest fuel to steam efficiency and lowest emissions possible. The myth that you can hang any burner on a boiler and expect it to function efficiently, dependably and with environmental friendliness is a misnomer which must be dispelled regardless of manufacturer. The boiler/burner package is a highly engineered power generator and for maximum performance it must adhere to basic combustion engineering and thermodynamic principles.

    C-B Boiler Room Accessories

The equipment which follows is often referred to as “Accessories” in the boiler room because they are ancillary pieces of equipment used to support the boiler in delivering its intended duty. For instance, the deaerator is really a boiler feed tank used to store and pump water into the boiler during the evaporation process of converting water into steam. The difference with a feed tank only; however, is that a deaerator is also a mechanical pre-treater of the make-up water, removing the corrosive excess oxygen and carbon dioxide before it has a chance to corrode the boiler metal or condensate lines; saving significantly on chemicals and wasted Btu’s due to increased blowdown requirements. The deaerator design can be either a spray, column or tray type.
